Jeff McCarter, MSS | President & Co-Founder

Jeff McCarter is a dedicated servant leader with an impressive track record of 28 years, consistently making a positive impact on customers and stakeholders within and outside the military. His leadership style is marked by critical thinking, timely and astute decision-making, and leading by example.

Having served multiple deployments to the Middle East, Jeff’s expertise extends to civil affairs, and healthcare, where he has made significant contributions in challenging environments. His commitment to his military service is a testament to his unwavering dedication to the well-being of others.

Beyond his military service, Jeff continues to give back to his community as a special needs Sunday school teacher in his local church. This role highlights his compassion and commitment to helping those in need, further reflecting his values as a servant leader.

Outside of his professional and volunteer commitments, Jeff finds joy in spending quality time with his three adult children and his loving wife. His family is at the heart of his life, providing him with the motivation and support to continue making a positive impact on the world around him.

Kelly Watson, DNP, MSN, RN | Vice-President & Co-Founder

Kelly Watson is a registered nurse with a Doctor of Nursing Practice degree focused on Executive Nursing Leadership. Her DNP project was focused on researching the correlation between nursing resilience and retention and she is passionate about resiliency and holistic health efforts.

She is passionate about supporting the frontline of nurses. Kelly has experience in global healthcare, professional nursing consultant work, and nursing education. She has a Master of Nursing Education and loves to teach and encourage the next generation of nurses as well as tenured nurses working on advancing their degrees.

Kelly values forming collaborative and multidisciplinary partnerships to create a vision, establish buy-in, and implement evidence-based care and policy.

Kelly grew up in a military family and values and advocates for veterans and their families.

Kelly has been married to her high-school sweetheart, Barry, for 25 years.

Tom Sawyer | Chief Growth & Strategy Officer

Tom Sawyer has over thirty years of professional experience in senior leadership positions for companies like Lockheed Martin, Ford Aerospace, and DLH. Tom brings proven capabilities in Leadership, Performance, Architect Solutioning, Capture Management, Program Management, Transition, Start-Ups, Change Management, Systems Engineering, and Business Development.

As a versatile leader, Tom has overseen operations, nationally and some internationally, in healthcare, emergency response, logistics, and Engineering. On government contracts, he maintained over a 4.8 (out 5) on all performance “CPAR” evaluations as a Senior Program Manager In healthcare, he was responsible for winning and solutioning for the rapid Covid response, providing over 700 healthcare professionals, in Alaska as part of FEMA support.

Tom has overseen large infrastructure programs like the replacement of the Display Air Traffic Control Enroute systems nationwide and other multistate range (tactical combat) Programs. As a capture manager, Tom has won over $ 1 billion in contracts and played a vital role in executive tiger teams for Lockheed in $1 Billion+ opportunities.

Additionally, he has led several humanitarian non-profit organizations in efforts to provide Leadership development and self-sustainment to displaced and disadvantaged people groups in the local community of Yuma, AZ, Mexico, and the Middle East. Tom is a certified Leadership instructor, trainer, and coach.

John F. Armstrong, LFACHE

Experienced business executive with commercial experience in integrated health, logistics, operations, and training support services to cohesive and achievable business plans; served in senior position as Executive Vice President, Senior Vice President, and Director with large worldwide health companies.

Served as Member Board of Directors and Advisor to Veterans organizations that helped Veterans who are neglected, sick, hungry, and homeless in the state of Georgia with a vision is to end veteran homelessness and returning the dignity of self-sufficiency.

Former US Army Medical Service Corps officer (Colonel); selected and served in many prominent staff and command positions at 15 world-wide Department of Defense installations. Led the strategic planning effort for the CEO of King Fahd National Guard Hospital in Riyadh, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and developed a new Balanced Score Card that more clearly defined the strategic initiatives, goals, objectives, and metrics in support of improved patient care and fiscal responsibility. Held numerous healthcare operations positions of increasing responsibility within the Assistant Secretary of Defense for Health Affairs, U.S. Army Office of the Surgeon General and as commander and chief of staff for two deployable medical commands in support of US combat and peace keeping operations in Kosovo and Macedonia. Served as commander for one of the only three US Army's medical brigades within the U.S. Army active duty force. Adjunct professor in health administration studies under the direction of Baylor University, Tulane University, University of Oklahoma, and Creighton University.

June McGhee, MSN, RN

June McGhee, MSN, RN is a nurse manager for a high acuity, fast paced critical care unit leading a large staff of licensed and non-licensed caregivers to make a difference in patient outcomes. She is accountable for nursing productivity, quality benchmark performance, budget management, and the professional development of a diverse team. She is active in multiple organizational committees as well as the American Association of Critical Care Nurses. Along with her current role, she serves as chair of the Managers Council and is Co-Sponsor of the Veterans Resource Group.

June has earned an MSN in Nursing Leadership and Management from Western Governors University and a Bachelor Science in Nursing from Tennessee Technological University. She has been inducted into the Sigma Theta Tau international honor society of nurses.

Her professional nursing career spans three decades and has afforded multiple opportunities to serve others in medical missions as well as youth camps. June also served in the United States Army Reserve for 27 years in a variety of assignments with increasing responsibilities.

Her passion is her faith, her family, and making a difference.

Christopher A. Fowler, Sr.

Chris Fowler has over thirty years of executive experience in business development, human resources, logistics, operations, and contracting. His professional experience includes executive roles within the Department of Defense, and as a Vice President of Business Development in correctional healthcare. Mr. Fowler also served previously as a Director of Military and Veteran Outreach in corporate America.

Chris retired from the U.S. Army as an intelligence and operations officer and presents experience and education commensurate with his military service. He is a graduate of the U.S. Army War College, and with a Master's Degree, and holds a Master’s Degree from Central Michigan University. He possesses a Bachelor's Degree from Eastern Illinois University, a certificate in disaster management from the Department of Defense, and is a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt. Chris is also certified as an investigator with the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, and with the Texas Commission on Law Enforcement.

Chris is a member of the Order of Military Medical Merit, the Association of the United States Army, the Reserve Officer’s Association, and the Army War College Foundation. He is a State of Texas Peace Officer, a member of the National Sheriff’s Association, and the Texas Sheriff’s Association. As dedicated mentor, he also served as a trainer for the National Fatherhood Initiative.

Major General Ron E. Dziedzicki (retired)

A career spanning forty years devoted exclusively to the field of health care. Staff and administrative positions have progressively increased in scope and responsibility. Retired as the Chief Operating Officer, University Hospitals-Cleveland Medical Center, and University Hospitals Physician Services

Administration - Broad-based health care leadership capabilities. Developed policy and procedures, standards, transformational and multiphase operations management. Education, mentoring, coaching, evaluation, motivation and direct/indirect supervision of regional staff. Provided the decision-making, problem solving and leadership necessary to ensure efficient and productive operations for all support services at across an integrated Health Care Delivery System related services and functions, which included 15 acute care facilities and a 1,000 bed academic medical center. Joel Grant, MSS, MHA, MSW, MSM, LGSW | CHRO

Joel is a seasoned health care leader with more than 25 years of medical leadership experience ranging from the smallest of teams to serving as the Chief of Staff of a highly decentralized medical organization composed 100 business units and more than 12,000 people. He also has extensive experience in health care administration within hospitals and in policy development ranging from individual clinics to strategic policy development and drafting subsequent implementation guidance. As a clinician-leader he innately understands the roles of providers, logistics, operations, other support staff, and human resources and how their synchronization best support customer needs. He has also led and supported both long-term and short-term work groups acquiring the support of organizations with competing priorities. These work groups improved processes, reduced or mitigated unnecessary risk, and ensured consistent practices.

Joel's passion is the art of Human Resources (HR) achieved through customer service. He believes HR must be a customer service centric function that is never simply a bureaucracy. His goal is seeking legal and ethical ways to get to "yes," and that superior HR is most effectively achieved when it is focused on the organization's mission and vision while accounting for the needs of the individuals who compose the team. HR must be seen by leaders and staff at all levels not a bureaucratic hinderance, but as an easily accessed asset.

Cassian Nuñez, MBA

Cassian Nuñez serves as a Financial Planner for RINO INVEST Wealth Management. In 2019, he earned his Master of Business Administration from Mercer University before completing his Certified Financial Planning education from the University of Virginia in 2021. He currently serves his country as a Finance Officer in the United States Army Reserve.

Jennifer Marrast, MD

Delivering world class frontline Emergency Medicine care for over 24 years. A career which continues to span from the clinical bedside to administrative leadership. Understanding the bonds between clinical and administrative health care and being able to develop strategic plans which deliver synergy for providers and administrators. Maximizing efficiency and productivity, evaluating healthcare delivery through the entire process leading to a patient centric model, increasing patient safety and patient care understanding. Vast Leadership knowledge at all levels of the care continuum from Medical Directorships at Rural Hospitals to Trauma Centers ensuring administrative goals are met. As the past Vice President of Clinical Affairs for one of the most successful staffing agencies, managed over six hospitals dispersed over 4 states sharing successful models and elevating care. Leadership style that empowers direct staff input and sharing in the solutions-based process. Serving in the United States Military as a General Officer, it is my natural disposition to educate, coach, train and motivate. The people who make up our care teams are our most precious resources. Be it commanding Hospitals in combat or Chief of Staff- Education at home, our care teams make it happen. Christopher Northam

Christopher began his career in healthcare in the military, serving on active duty for many years as first a Navy Corpsman and then as an Army Medical Service Corps Officer in the areas of healthcare operations and logistics. He had assignments in 82nd Airborne Division, the 3rd Infantry Division, and at the Pentagon before transitioning to the private sector. At Humana, Christopher led the Technology Procurement group and went on to establish the Clinical Innovation division. He then moved to HCA Healthcare to establish and lead the Enterprise Telehealth service line. After nearly nine years he left HCA and spent a brief time at Wellvana working in the value-based care clinic acquisition space. He has since begun a consulting practice focused on the areas of healthcare strategy and operations. Christoper continues to serve as a Director/Advisor on a number of boards, as well as serving as a Colonel in the Army Reserve Medical Command.
